I’m Stephen Kirby, a Spokane attorney and technologist. Before law school I ran Tikor Consulting, working on Oracle database systems for Fortune 500 companies. Today I practice consumer protection and technology law at Kirby Law Office, PLLC.
This site is where I think out loud about artificial intelligence, technology and public policy: how AI should be governed, how technology changes the rules for consumers and businesses, and now and then a policy question closer to home, like housing or public health.
